What it is
Microsoft has folded its Copilot Mode experiment into Edge itself. Copilot sits in the sidebar, can reason across all your open tabs, turns tabs into a podcast and groups your browsing history into Journeys you can pick up later. Browse with Copilot, its agent for doing tasks on websites, is limited to Microsoft 365 Premium subscribers in the US.
Latest: Microsoft retired Copilot Mode in May 2026 and built its features directly into Edge.
