How Tech Arcade researches stories, ranks apps, labels paid placements and handles conflicts of interest.

Tech Arcade is published by Voyager AI. This page explains how we write stories, how we rank apps, and how money does and doesn’t touch our coverage.

News

  • Stories are researched and drafted by our AI newsroom and published under the Tech Arcade name; stories written by a person carry their name.
  • Every figure, name, date and quote is checked against at least two independent sources, preferring primary ones such as company announcements and regulatory filings. Key claims are linked inline and every story ends with its full source list.
  • Anything we can’t verify, we leave out or clearly label as reported.
  • We stay neutral on politics and report every company and country in the same plain, factual tone.
  • Corrections: email admin@voyagerai.io. We fix errors promptly and update the story.

Best apps rankings

  • Every app is researched from official sources: its website, pricing pages, documentation and app-store listings, plus independent reviews where available.
  • Each app gets five scores out of 10 (quality, ease of use, features, value and platforms), weighted into an overall score. Features are scored half by our editors and half by a published feature checklist for each category, ticked only where the app’s own pages confirm it. The rubric and checklist are shown on every category page under How we rank.
  • Apps with no independent reviews or ratings are capped at 6.5 for quality until they have them.
  • Rankings and scores can’t be bought. Paying for a listing or a Featured spot never changes a score or a position.
  • Get listed (one-off fee): we research, score and publish your app’s profile page, ranking position and comparisons. We may decline apps that don’t fit a category or fail our checks, and refund the fee.
  • Featured spot (monthly): a card above a category’s ranking, always labelled Sponsored. Featured links are marked rel="sponsored".
  • Links to app websites in our rankings are editorial and not affiliate links.

Our own products

Voyager AI, which publishes Tech Arcade, also makes apps that may appear in our rankings, including VoyaBear and VoyaFlow. They’re scored with exactly the same rubric and checklist as every other app, are labelled “By Voyager AI” wherever they appear, and may be promoted on the site as an Editor’s feature or in our own promotional banners.
