Island just raised a $400M Series F at a $6.4B valuation for its enterprise browser — as AI agents turn the humble tab into the place companies police their software.

Google has built Gemini into Chrome, so you can ask about the page you're on from a side panel without installing anything. Paying Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the US also get auto browse, an agent powered by Gemini 3 that scrolls, clicks and fills in forms, pausing for confirmation before purchases or posts.
Latest: Google launched auto browse for US AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in January 2026.
Easiest to adopt and widely available; the best agent features cost extra and are limited to the US.
