What it is
Comet is Perplexity's Chromium-based browser with its AI assistant built into every tab. It summarises pages, compares products across open tabs, does research with citations and can carry out tasks on websites for you. It became free for everyone in October 2025 and now runs on Mac, Windows, Android and iPhone.
Latest: Comet launched on iPhone in March 2026, after Android in late 2025.
