What it is
Wixel is Wix's AI design platform, relaunched in December 2025, and its logo maker creates designs from a prompt or a few questions about your brand. The AI suggests palettes, fonts, icons and taglines, and manual edits are free. Downloads in SVG, PNG and JPG are included on every plan, with AI use metered by credits.
Latest: Wix relaunched Wixel as a new AI design platform in December 2025, with a chat assistant (Aria) and a credit-based plan structure.
What the AI does
- Logo generation from a prompt or brand questions
- AI-suggested colour palettes, fonts and taglines
- Original AI icons and icon sets
- Aria chat assistant for creating and editing designs
Pros and cons
- Free plan includes SVG and transparent PNG downloads
- Chat assistant handles logos, posts and videos in one place
- Saved brand settings keep designs consistent
- iOS and Android apps
- AI generations eat credits, and credits don't roll over
- Logo elements come from a shared library, so no exclusive ownership
- Designs can't move directly into a Wix website
How it scores
Generous free downloads including SVG and apps on every platform; output is library-based and the relaunched app has too few ratings to judge yet.
