What it is

Sparky sits behind the Ask Sparky button in the Walmart app and answers product questions, summarises reviews, compares items and suggests what to buy for an occasion such as a birthday or housewarming. Since 2026 it can also reorder things you buy regularly and help with meal planning, and it now works in Spanish. It only searches Walmart's own catalogue.

Latest: Walmart said in May 2026 that Sparky's weekly active users more than doubled in a quarter after it added reorders and Spanish.
