Apple's $299 HomeView knows your face. Here's how it works

Oct 13, 2026 · News · Tech explained

Apple unveiled HomeView on 13 October 2026: a 7-inch home screen for $299 (US) that recognises up to six people and shows each one their own Messages, Calendar and Reminders. Personal content only appears when your face is recognised and your paired iPhone is nearby and recently unlocked. It ships 13 November in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, India and New Zealand, but not in the EU. Source: Apple Newsroom.
