What it is
Udio generates songs with vocals from text prompts and offers detailed editing, style references, voices and remixing. After settling with Universal Music Group in October 2025 it disabled all downloads, and it is rebuilding as a licensed platform with deals from Universal, Warner, Merlin and Kobalt.
Latest: Udio's licensed platform with Universal and Warner was still in staged rollout as of September 2026, with downloads disabled.
