Devin is Cognition's autonomous coding agent: it works in the cloud on its own machines, tests in its own browser and delivers pull requests, and can be tagged from Slack, Teams or Linear. In June 2026 Cognition rebranded Windsurf as Devin Desktop, a full IDE with Tab completions and a local agent.
